Since launching in August, the annual Birmingham Comedy Festival has announced a number of new shows.
These include Amateur Transplants: Adam Kay Is Going For Number One – an appearance by the iTunes chart-topping musical comedy act at The Glee Club Birmingham on Tuesday 8 October 2013.
Naomi Paul and Jenny Stokes (as Dolly Grip) return to the Old Joint Stock on Monday 7 October with Women At The Edge, and master baker will be hosting a night of fresh bread, tea and comedy as Comedy, Bread And A Cuppa at Eastside Projects, Digbeth, on Friday 4 October.
Meanwhile, fresh from five-star reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the University Of Birmingham’s Footnotes appear at Six Eight Kafe on Friday 11 October.
Birmingham Comedy Festival runs from Friday 4 to Sunday 13 October 2013 at various venues around the city. Among the previously announced acts to appear at Russell Brand, Tony Law, Mrs Barbara Nice, Joe Lycett and Adam Hills.
