Comedy icon makes much-anticipated Glee debut.

Eddie Izzard will perform his Force Majeure show 3 times in 3 languages over 3 one hour shows at The Glee Cardiff on Monday 20 March 2017.

The legendary comedian first performed his 333 shows in Caen, Normandy on 6 June 2014 for the 70th anniversary of D-Day.

He’s since performed the show across the globe, with his 2017 dates taking him to such locations as Tokyo, Kathmandu, Bangkok, Honolulu, Budapest, Tel Aviv, Bratislava … and Cardiff, as one of just six UK dates.

Force Majeure will see the multi-lingual Eddie deliver his show in German, French, and then English, with individual tickets available for each language.

Hailed as the foremost stand up of his generation, Eddie is a star of stage and screen, famed for his charity work, as well as his running, political campaigning, and style.

Over the years, Cardiff’s Glee has welcomed many of the biggest names in stand-up comedy including Jack Whitehall, Michael McIntyre, Sarah Millican, Ross Noble, Jack Dee and Rob Brydon, but these shows mark the first time the legendary Izzard has ever graced a Glee stage.

“To have Eddie appear at The Glee is something of a dream come true for us, a real coup,” says The Glee’s owner Mark Tughan. “He’s one of the all-time greats; someone who’s been at the top of his game for decades, someone who just keeps pushing boundaries.”

Tickets for the three Force Majeure 333 shows are on sale now, available via 0871 472 0400 or www.glee.co.uk
