EG Birmingham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award 2017 

The official launch event for the festival sees five superb up-and-coming especially selected hand-picked acts from across the West Mids slug it out for the prestigious title. Catch the next generation of comedy stars today. Plus, there’s also a closing set from the hotly tipped Lost Voice Guy. A total of 16 great one-hour shows across consecutive Sundays in two city centre venues. It’s like a mini-festival in itself, with pun-masters and one-liner merchants, observational comics, character acts, sketches, and improv’. Highlights include a revival of classic BBC comedy series Around The Horne and an appearance from Josh Pugh who, since winning the festival’s Breaking Talent Award in 2015, has been crowned English Comedian Of The Year and toured Australia!
