New photographic exhibition, Capturing Towersey, focuses on famed Oxfordshire music festival

Capturing Towersey, a new exhibition focusing on the famed Oxfordshire music festival, is now on display at Thame Museum.
Featuring a series of images by Towersey’s official photographer, Phil Sofer, taken at the festival over a period of 12 years, the exhibition was officially launched at an invite-only evening event on Friday 7 June 2019.
Discussing the opening, Towersey Festival Director Joe Heap said: “Thanks to everyone who braved the English weather and came along to our exhibition launch on Friday evening, especially Yvonne, David and all the team from Thame Museum.
“We’re very proud to be collaborating with the venue for our first official exhibition.
“Phil’s photographs look amazing, and you can check them out until Tuesday 27 August (the day after the festival) at the museum – which is also home to loads of great items relating to the history of Thame and the surrounding area. Admission is free!”
