Tony Law identifies as a Hominid. Homo Sapien, Neanderthal, Indo-European horse tribesman, an Englishman, a Canadian, a Norn Iron Man, a Trinidadian and a Tobagonian. A dog, a dog owner, owned by a dog, a surrealist, an absurdist, and an artist who is comedy of person. A parent, a thrower, a catcher, a reader and a farmer.
A masterful storyteller, Identifies see’s the distinctively attired Tony spin between the life of a Russian steam boat captain, early man’s development, and the present day.
Described as a ‘surreal genius’ by The Telegraph and ‘impeccable’ by The Times, Tony is a three-time Chortle Award winner, Amused Moose Best Show winner and Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee. His previous acclaimed live shows have included Frillemorphesis, Absurdity For The Common People, A Lost Show, and Nonsense Overdrive. He also teamed up with the Weirdos comedy collective for 2017 one-off dystopian ice skating spectacular, Tony Law And Friends In The Battle For Icetopia, at London’s Alexandra Palace.
