Josh Pugh and Hannah Weetman join music and arts festival line-up.
Sunday 3 September 2023, Moseley Folk and Arts Festival, Birmingham.
Birmingham Comedy has partnered with Moseley Folk and Arts Festival for their 2023 edition.
The popular comedy festival – which last year welcomed over 36,000 attendees – will be presenting two acts on the final night of the annual Moseley festival: Josh Pugh and Hannah Weetman.
Hailing from Warwickshire, Josh Pugh won the Birmingham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award in 2015. He’s gone on to share stages with Joe Lycett and Ricky Gervais, and is fast becoming a TV regular, with appearances in such shows as Mock The Week and The Last Leg.
In 2022, Josh was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Sausage, Egg, Josh Pugh, Chips and Beans, and recently completed his first full UK tour to packed houses – including Birmingham’s Town Hall and The Glee Club.
Josh has also appeared as part of the Birmingham Comedy Festival many times.
Hannah Weetman comes from Castle Bromwich, Birmingham, and is the current recipient of the Birmingham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award – having scooped the prize in October 2022 in front of a sell-out Glee Club crowd.
This marks the fourth time both festivals have partnered, with the comedy festival previously presenting such acts as Ivo Graham, Good Kids and Lindsey Santoro at the music and arts festival.
Birmingham Comedy Festival presents Josh Pugh, with Hannah Weetman, is on Sunday 3 September 2023.
Moseley Folk and Arts Festival runs from Friday 1 to Sunday 3 September 2023 and features appearances from Squeeze, Wilco, The Saw Doctors, The Proclaimers, Stornoway, Blindboy and more.
